September 15, 2004- Burton Software Company, Inc. announces the release of the windows version of PRFORMS, an after-the-fact payroll program that will allow small businesses and accounting firms to track and report payroll items to state and federal governments. PRFORMS provides for W-2, 1099, 941, 940 and state reporting via paper and electronic means. This program replaces the old DOS-based version, which was released in 1995.
An after-the-fact payroll program takes data that has been computed by other means (mechanical, tabular, or computerized) and tracks it for reporting purposes. The user enters previously determined data in either summary or check format for tabulation.
