How can I print a single (or group) of forms for a
recipient?
A. Select Print Menu
> Select Print Options > Select Recipients.
Check the recipients you want to print, then print
your forms.
Q. How can I print my
forms in alphabetical order?
A. Select Print Menu
> Select Print Options > Select Recipients.
Sort the list by clicking on the header row of the
column you wish to sort by (Employee Name, Taxpayer
ID, etc.). Select all recipients by clicking on the
header row of the "Select Column". Proceed
to print what forms you want.
Q. How can I print forms
with my dot matrix printer?
A. Select Print Menu
> Preprinted Forms > Copy A. Continuous
forms can only be printed with single wide forms.
Q.
I don't like having to print each form copy separately.
Can I print all required copies with one command?
A. Yes. Go to Print
Menu > Batch Process. Your forms will print
according to your batch processing flags for that
form.
Q. Data on my preprinted
forms is slightly out of adjustment. Can I change
this?
A. From the Print Menu,
select adjust print positions. Make your adjustments,
check your work, and reprint your forms.

Data on my plain paper forms is slightly out of adjustment.
Can I change this?
A. No. Data on laser
forms is "hard coded" with the form itself.
Q.
My printer spits out blank pages
between plain paper forms. What causes this?
A. This will occur if
the printer has a large unprintable error, or bleed,
around the page. Some printers (but not all) will
print a blank page if a print command is received
to print in this area. Try to change printers to a
laser printer, which have smaller margin requirements,
if possible.
Q. When I print, the
program gives me an error 482. What can I do?
A. Download an updated
printer driver for your printer from the internet
site of the printer manufacturer. Install the print
driver, print a test page, and try again.
Q. Can I submit a plain
paper copy A to the IRS like the W-2 module?
A. No, you must either
mail the "red"
Copy A or submit your reports electronically or by
diskette.
Q.
I want to print all Forms 1099, rather than just those
who exceed the minimum amount prescribed by the IRS.
How can I do this?
A. Go to the Print
Menu > Select Print Options > Set Threshold
Amounts. Enter the amount you want, set it, and
proceed to print your forms.
*Note
- Threshold settings holds only for the current print
cycle ,and will reset to default settings .

Can I track my order?
A. As
of right now, we don't have a tracking order system
to track your orders if its shipped
through another carrier. We do have the ability to
send you a confirmation and letting you
know when your order was received and when it will
be shipped to one of our carriers.
Q.
I just order, how come I still haven't received status
on my order yet?
A. When
an order has just been placed it takes us 30 minutes
or more to send you a
confirmation that your order has been received.
Q.
How does the order process go?
A.
First,
you purchase an order then we received your order
through our system to let us know
an order was placed. Once we confirm the order, an
email confirmation should be sent to
you automatically. We usually ship orders we received
before 3pm (Eastern Standard Time)
the same day.
Q.
I never received my order and it has been awhile,
what should I do?
A. If
it has been longer than the estimated shipping time
you had order with, for example
(Standard shipping = 5 to 7 days, then you should
expect that your order arrives in that period
of time + 1 or 2 days for your order to get placed
for shipping). If you have waited for
an order longer than the estimated shipping time,
then go ahead and give us a call at
(770)303-0001 and speak to a person in sales about
this issue. You can also email us at
help@burton-software.com and give us a detail description
of the issue you are having.

How do I cancel an order/item?
A.
If the order hasn't been shipped
then its still cancelable. Call us at (770)303-0001
and ask
for a salesperson, and we will gladly cancel the order
for you.

the same day if they are place before 3pm that day

When does my order get shipped to me?
A. After
your order is placed we ship it the same day if its
placed before 3pm (EST) that day,
and after 3pm (EST) we will ship it next business
day. Depending on what shipping method
you use to place the order, it will arrive within
the estimated shipping times. For example if
you use standard shipping, it usually takes 5-7 business
days to get to its destination.

through our shipping carriers. Your order/item is
trackable only when it was received
through our systems and when we ship it out.

instead of receiving a CD. This way
we can better serve you by offering you a free way
of receiving our software.

How do I return my software?
A. First
contact our customer service department and get a
RMA number before returns are
allowed. No returns on
internet purchases.

Burton-Software Return Policy?
A. We
back our products by giving you a full refund if the
return is initiated within 30 days
after purchase and all materials, including CD's and
manuals, are returned to us. All returns
must be approved by our customer service department,
and a RMA number is assigned
by an associate. No
refunds will issued on internet purchases.
Prospective customers
are

for free and "try before you buy".

What are my payment options?
A. Available
payment options for online purchases are: Visa, Mastercard,
American Express,
and Discover. We do accept checks for phone orders.
If checks is the only purchase method
then give us a call at (770)303-0001, press 1 to talk
to a salesperson and we will gladly
help take your order with a check. Money order may
also be used with phone orders.

When is my credit card charged?
A. Your
credit card is chareged right after you submit your
order and we process it. Once you
received an email confirmaiton about your order, your
card has probably already been
charged.

Do I have to pay sales tax?
A. Only
georgia residents have to pay taxes on their orders,
other state residents don't have
to pay taxes on online orders.
Q.
Where can I obtain a receipt or copy of an invoice?
A. A
receipt or copy of an invoice should be printed out
once an order is purchased online.
We suggest you to print an invoice right after an
order is place so you have proof of purchase.
We will also send you an email with copy of your transaction
and that should be printed if
you want to keep a copy. We also keep an electronic
copy of your software purchase.
